Communications and text messaging policy

Effective October 16, 2026.

This policy explains how Taniya Refai, a sales associate with Florida Homes Realty & Mortgage, contacts people who reach out through this website, and how optional text messages work.

When you contact us

When you ask for information, a showing, a valuation, an appointment or other help, we'll reply using the contact information and preferences you gave us. The required checkbox on each form lets us contact you by phone or email about that request. It doesn't sign you up for marketing.

Optional text messages

Texting is separate and optional. If you check the text message box, Taniya may text you about your inquiry, appointments, homes you asked about or the services you requested.

• Message frequency varies with your request.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can also opt out any other reasonable way, such as by telling Taniya in a call or email.
• Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying or selling property or of receiving any real estate service.

Texts are sent by Taniya personally. This website doesn't send automated or bulk text campaigns. If that ever changes, we'll ask for any additional permission the law requires first.

Marketing

We'll only send market updates, new listing alerts or similar messages if you ask for them or agree to them. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us. Requests to stop are honored promptly.

What we never do

We don't sell your phone number or email address, and we don't share your text opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.

What we record

When you submit a form, we keep a record of the consent wording you saw, which boxes you checked, the date and time, the page and your IP address, so there's an accurate record of what you agreed to. See the privacy policy for how that information is handled.
